Capprz Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 23, 2026
Capprz, Inc. ("Capprz," "we," "us," or "our") operates a platform connecting sports content Partners with the fans who subscribe to them. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information, and how to exercise your privacy choices. It's part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
You provide to us directly:
- Account creation. Members: name, email, phone number, and password. Partners: the same, plus your Room's handle, profile image, and application details.
- Purchases. Payment for a Room subscription is processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). We don't directly collect or store your payment card details, but we may receive related billing information, such as the last four digits of your card.
- Communications. Anything you send us through support, surveys, or job applications.
- Content you post. Your write-ups, posts, and Room chat messages. Anything you share through public or semi-public areas of the Platform should be treated as visible to others in that Room.
Collected automatically:
- Device and usage data — IP address, device/browser type, and how you interact with the Platform (pages viewed, features used, session activity).
- Cookies and similar technologies, used to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand Platform usage.
From other sources:
- Stripe. To publish a Room, a Partner connects their own Stripe account and completes Stripe's identity verification directly with Stripe — Capprz doesn't receive or store the underlying ID or bank details, and doesn't hold or disburse Partner earnings. We receive limited transaction information back, such as confirmation that a Partner's account can accept payments.
- Discord, only if you link your account to use the optional Discord bridge feature — limited to what's needed to manage role assignment.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the Platform (accounts, Rooms, subscriptions, notifications); respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized content redistribution; comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting; and improve the Platform through aggregated or de-identified analytics. We don't use your information for third-party advertising, and we don't sell your personal information.
3. How We Disclose Information
- Service providers. We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform — including hosting, payment processing, real-time messaging, notifications, email delivery, analytics, and error monitoring — under contract, and only for those purposes.
- Partners and other Members. If you subscribe to a Room, your usage information may be accessible to that Partner. Room chat and public profile information is visible to other Members of that Room.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or where we believe it's necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Capprz, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Capprz is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. Because a Partner's content history is part of what Members rely on, published Content is retained even after a Partner's account closes, so it can't be selectively removed or altered after the fact. Other account data is deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period after account closure, except where we need to keep it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
- Email: unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such email. You'll still receive transactional and account-related messages.
- Text messages: opt out anytime by replying STOP or contacting support.
- Access, correction, deletion: contact us at privacy@capprz.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, consistent with the retention needs described above.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you're a resident of a state with a consumer privacy law (such as California's CCPA), you may have the right to know what personal information we've collected, request its deletion, correct inaccuracies, and opt out of certain uses. We don't sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@capprz.com. We won't discriminate against you for exercising them.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access controls, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Capprz is intended for use only by people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn we have, we'll delete it.
9. Anti-Piracy and Session Controls
Because Partner Content is paid, exclusive material, we use technical measures to protect it — including limiting each Member account to a single active mobile session, requiring extra verification from a new device, and applying a subtle per-Member identifier to certain Content views that can help trace the source if paid Content is redistributed outside the Platform. This is used only to detect unauthorized account sharing or Content redistribution, not for advertising.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll provide notice through the Platform or by email before they take effect.
